- Comparative Trend-Line Analysis
- TELSTAR 8M Custom Multihull Eval
This is Multihull Dynamics, Inc.s (MDI) Custom Multihull Review of the Telstar 8M. It features a comparison of the 8M with Trend-Line results of 129 trimarans in the MDI Database. In addition Cal Markwood, Engineering Analyst for MDI, has written a "Cal's Eval" for the Telstar 8M which narrows the comparisons further by evaluating this boatwith other boats intheMDI database that have similar specifications.
- SHUTTLE CAT 31 Trend-Line Analysis
This is MDI's Comparative Trend-Line Analysis of the Shuttle Cat 31. In the Trend-Line Analysis the Shuttle Cat 31 is compared to the MDI's Bridgedeck Clearance evaluation standards developed by Cal Markwood (when Bridgedeck data is available), along with this, the Shuttle Cat is also graphed against the Catamaran Database Trend Lines of performance and stability results of the 658 Catamarans. The specific Catamaran Database Trend Lines used for the Comparative Multihull Analysis are: Bruce Number (BN), Sail Area to Displacement ratio (SA/D), Base Speed (BSpd), Texel Rating (TR) and Stability Speed (SSpd) and Cal Markwood's Stability Index (SI-CM). This analysis comes complete with 18 specifications, 10 are unique performance and stability evaluations, a profile and layout drawing are also included.
"The Shuttle Cat 31 is a fast cruising catamaran that is very similar to another Shuttleworth production cat, the Tektron 35. She represents one of many design's from Shuttleworth's Spectrum 42. The unusual yet well proven flared hull form creates a small waterline imprint for speed, and a wider form above the waterline for increased interior accommodations and additional buoyancy when reaching. - COMANCHE 32 Trend-Line Analysis
This is MDI's Trend-Line Analysis of the Sailcraft Comanche 32. In the Trend-Line Analysis the Comanche is compared to and graphed against the Catamaran Database Trend Lines of Performance and Stability results ofall catamarans. The specific Catamaran Database Trend Lines used for the analysis are: Bruce Number (BN), Sail Area to Displacement ratio (SA/D), Base Speed (BSpd), Texel Rating (TR), Stability Speed (SSpd) and Cal Markwood's Stability Index (SI-CM). More photos with the CMA review. This analysis comes complete with 17 specifications, 9 are unique performance and stability evaluations.
" One of the chief design factors of the Comanche 32 was a yacht that could maintain fast, although not extreme speeds, and had a bullet proof safety factor when loaded with a full completment of cruising equipment and the family with stores and gear for a 3 week cruise or passage. The Comanche bridges the gap betweent the Sailcraft Iroquois 30 and the Sailcraft Cherokee 35". ( Excerpted from the Yachting Monthly, April, 1980)

- CATALAC 9M Trend-Line Analysis
This is MDI's Comparative Trend-Line Analysis of the Catalac 9M. In the Trend-Line Analysis the 9M is compared to the MDI's Bridgedeck Clearance evaluation standards developed by Cal Markwood ( when Bridgedeck data is available), along with this, the Catalac 9M is also graphed against the Catamaran Database Trend Lines of Performance and Stability results of the 658 Catamarans. The specific Catamaran Database Trend Lines used for the Comparative Multihull Analysis are: Bruce Number (BN), Sail Area to Displacement ratio (SA/D), Base Speed (BSpd), Texel Rating (TR) and Stability Speed (SSpd) and Cal Markwood's Stability Index (SI-CM). Complete specifications with perfomance and stability, up to 12 unique dataevaluations of this vessel with profile and layout.
"Very similar to her smaller sistership, the 8M, the Catalac 9M is an all-out cruiser with a decent turn of speed and very liveable accommodations. The interior layout is excellent for living aboard, particularly if one modifies the bulkhead between the two forward cabins tocreate on huge stateroom with his and her dressing areas on either side. This is a very stable and comfortable 30 foot boat, with considerable room below and plenty of uncluttered cockpit space above." Sailor's Multihull Guide, 1st Ed, 1998

- ANTRIM 30+ Trend-Line Analysis
This is MDI's Comparative Trend-Line Analysis of the Antrim 30+. In the Trend-Line Analysis theAntrim is compared to and graphed against the Trimaran Database Trend Lines of performance and stability results of the 88 trimarans. The specific Trimaran Database Trend Lines used for the Comparative Multihull Analysis are: Bruce Number (BN), Sail Area to Displacement ratio (SA/D), Base Speed (BSpd), Texel Rating (TR), Stability Speed (SSpd) and Cal Markwood's Stability Index (SI-CM). Complete specifications with perfomance and stability, up to 12 unique data evaluations of this vessel with profile and layout.
TheAntrim 30+ is one of the designs of Antrim Associates. A fast racer/cruiser, she folds to a mere 10'0" beam for convenient docking, haul-out, or trailering. Easy handling and performance sailing are combined with safety because of the high buoyancy and unique ama design. Sailor's Multihull Guide, 1st Ed., 1998
